Deep working experience across the case management platforms personal injury firms run on - not just the screens, but the integration, limitations, and practical accounting impact.

Jove (formerly GrowPath)

We have deep working experience in Jove, the personal injury case management platform formerly known as GrowPath, for personal injury law firm accounting. Jove centralizes intake, lead scoring, matter management, document handling, and settlement optimization for plaintiffs' PI firms. For accounting, Jove doesn't run its own separate trust ledger. Financial activity is captured through its Ledger Entries and connected directly out to QuickBooks so the firm's accountant never has to leave the case file to see a check request.

Our experience is not limited to knowing the software screens. We understand how Jove's ledger, damages, and expense data flows into QuickBooks, and where the practical setup steps sit between the two systems.

Integration with QuickBooks

Jove and QuickBooks work well together, on both the Premier desktop and cloud versions. Ledger entries created against a case, damages, liens, and expenses, generate check requests that the accountant can view through Jove's own accounting ledger, and from there export the selected checks and print them directly from QuickBooks.

There are practical limitations that need to be understood before relying on the data completely. Our role is to identify these issues early, review the data, and make sure the check-writing and accounting process remains clean.

Our Understanding of Jove

Jove supports personal injury case management through configurable matter-level controls that coordinate intake, investigation, treatment monitoring, negotiation, settlement, and closure. Matter Trackers display caseloads by attorney, employee, or department and automatically flag case issues, overdue actions, and missed deadlines.

Smart Reminders generate stage-specific follow-ups, while OppAlerts use keyword and phrase triggers to launch predefined questions, tasks, alerts, or internal review procedures when relevant case information is entered. The Case Ledger maintains sequenced tasks and dependencies; SOL Calendars generate statute-of-limitations and deadline reminders; and collaboration tools preserve status updates, note reviews, and change histories within the matter.

Jove also centralizes case communications and evidence, provides document version control, automatically assigns follow-up and document tasks, tracks settlement progress and outstanding actions, and uses performance analytics to identify workflow delays affecting personal injury case resolution.

Why This Matters

In PI accounting, Jove and QuickBooks should not be treated as separate systems. Jove carries the case information, ledger entries, damages, liens, and expense history. QuickBooks carries the accounting records, checks, bank reconciliation, and trust liability.

If both systems do not match properly, issues can appear in:

Check writing
Payee details
Ledger entry accuracy
Export and check-print timing
IOLTA reconciliation
Trust liability
Matter-wise client ledgers
Settlement agreement accuracy
Internal reporting

Our role is to keep the Jove-QuickBooks workflow reviewed, connected, and accurate, so the firm can rely on clean accounting records.
